Bio
Biography
While the latest lineup of Minneapolis band In the Fields came together very recently (February, 2008), the boys of ITF are no rookies to the music business. Each member has over ten years of serious playing experience, dozens to hundreds of shows, and numerous recordings to his credit. With modern and classic rock covers and an original sound described as modern/classic/alternative rock stylistically comparable to Led Zeppelin, Soundgarden/Audioslave, and Guns 'n Roses, In the Fields has recently been making an explosive re-entrance into the Twin Cities rock scene. In addition to recent shows on television, radio, and at top Twin Cities rock venues such as The Rock Nightclub and O'Gara's, ITF is has become a mainstay at the popular Renegades’ Bar and Grill in Burnsville, Minnesota. ITF recently won a battle of the bands contest and has been playing to an ever-increasing audience at the venue, which hosts top rock acts from the area and out-of-state weekly. With the buzz building in the Twin Cities, the band is now focused on completing its next recording (to be released summer/fall, 2008), as well as bringing its infectious brand of hard rock to the rest of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and beyond in the summer of '08.
