    • Keep rockin' Michael. You're an inspiration to us all. Arlo Hennings - manager Shawn Phillips, Shawn Phillips dot com

    • It's good to be here with you all, let's keep this music world going...

    • I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the man in the band who came up to me after the incident. You are a real stand up guy! It would have been even more heartfelt though, had it been the Husband of the woman.

    • Thanx for directions to the legion!! Glad I had the wrong number!!~!

I look forward to watching you jam live!!!

      Sackman

    • Finally got around to checking out your site. Very cool. The song "Rolling With the Thunder" is kick ass. I will put a link up for you on the Legendary Kingdoms site: www.legendary-kingdoms.com when I next get around to working on it.

    • Mike,

The last minute 50th birthday party gig up in Alex at the Barn a couple of weeks ago went well.

Thanks for the gig. John, Gene and David from BLUE STEEL

    • Hi Mike, thank you so much for your note. That was a wonderful compliment, very nice of you to take time to do that. I was very thrilled to be asked to write & sing on Hodsdon's project. We were very pleased with how it turned out. I'd be happy to send you a disc if you'd like. Take care, Jake

    • Hey Michael! Been trying to holler but you are one busy man!! Thanx for the support at ThrillSeekerz! Your banner is up in the links page!! Holler when ya get a chance!

    • Hey "a reader" why don't you show us YOUR band's website and prove to us you can do better. Oh, that's right, you don't know how to play an instrument. Kazoo doesn't count. Why don't you get a day get, get a clue, and move out of your mother's basement. And next time you post, if you can't say something positive, keep your opinions to yourself.

    • Wow mike ... seems like you have a bunch of former band members that couldn't cut it that don't like you. Amazing. Maybe you shouldn't give these amatuers a chance to play with you on stages they could never get onto on their own.

Seems to me '84 was a good year

Real Metal returns with a vengance.
Finally somebody remembered what it was to sing. A metal song where the guitarist knew how to fly and the singer could sing. Kicks ass, guys.

Metal sounds like Metal
The intro riff was incredible, it's what metal guitar should sound like. The singers voice was right on the spot. The drummer could've been a little bit better, but he fit in nicely. Only problem I encountered was the lack of a bass line. The recording was even good. This is a pretty good bad ass band.

Hi MJP!
Thanks you for letting me hear your work! I like the song, I'm curious, did you do all the instruments or was this with a band?
Good guitar work, with a very '80's kind of sound that unfortunately we just don't seem to hear enough of with the dark, hate, life sux metal and rap crap that seems to be all over the radio these days. I like the sound and sentiment of this song, and with you mentioning the recording is from the '80's I think you nailed what was going on and where your heart is music wise.
The dynamics in the song keep it interesting considering it's a 4:12 long song, which isn't too long, but you know how todays "short attention span" society is now-a-days. The song doesn't seem to ever get redundant with the build-ups and it stays interesting with repeated listenings...very good! I listened to it 4 times before writing this.
On a special note I can't help but get past how much this might sound like typical solo Ace Frehley, like the stuff he did outside of KISS in the '80's. Without any more info on who is on this recording, I can only assume that is you singing and doing the guitar work. Have you ever thought of being Space Ace in a KISS tribute band? Or picking up the song "Shock Me" for your band? Man, your vocals nail Ace on this song, and I mean that as a compliment.
Thanks again for letting me hear some of your work...I like it!
Take care MJP! See you down the road my friend, Bilvis ;-)
