This 6 piece ensemble of accomplished musicians is dedicated to bringing it’s talent and love of Heart’s memorable music of the 70's and 80's to the stage with unequaled accuracy and musical skill. Complete with retro-inspired costumes, Dog N’ Butterfly is a Heart tribute band that takes the concept of “Tribute” to a whole new level!
Created in late 2003, this talented group is headed by vocalist Lizann Warner, who’s been singing professionally in a variety of successful performance groups for over 17 years. Her uncanny vocal impersonations of Ann Wilson have earned her much praise and notoriety, even among Heart’s former members! Lizann’s voice is featured on the widely popular game: Guitar Hero III, singing “Barracuda” as well as on Konami’s Game: Rock Revolution, singing “Magic Man”! She can also be found performing regularly at the Harmon Theater in Las Vegas in a show called “Rockstar the Tribute” where she portrays Ann Wilson along side other talented impersonators. Joining Lizann as Nancy Wilson is the very gifted Sissy Martin, a talented vocalist and musician who plays both electric & acoustic guitar with equal precision. Together this dynamic duo duplicates Ann & Nancy Wilson’s memorable harmonies so closely, your ears will do a double take! Lead guitarist Sean Clegg is the band’s musical director. With a master’s degree in guitar performance from the University of Cal State Fullerton, his guitar solos have been recognized by Roger Fisher himself who has said, “I thought that was me playing for a minute!” Rounding out the line-up are: Scott Snyder on bass [who also performs with the legendary rock band Great White], and the talented David Pimentel on drums who also designs & builds drums for national artists with his own drum company Spaun Drums. Dog ‘N’ Butterfly is so respected as a band that they have been joined on-stage by Heart’s former guitarist Roger Fisher & bassist Steve Fossen, and viewed & endorsed by original Heart Drummer Michael Derossier!
Dog N’ Butterfly has been wowing crowds at notable venues such as the world famous House Of Blues in California and The Boulder Station In Las Vegas, as well as countless casinos, festivals, and private events throughout California, Nevada, Colorado, and Washington. They perform all the 70's hits loved by die-hard fans worldwide as well as the chart-toppers that brought Heart back into the lime light in the 80's. With their eerie Heart-like vocals provided by Lizann and Sissy, this band painstakingly recreates every harmony, note, and nuance of Heart’s memorable music.
